A Standard Home Security System

Basically you have to decide first on the number of doors as well as windows you want to protect with a standard wired home security kit in your house. You can possibly buy additional sensors to cover all of the entrances into your home. So for doing the first kit, just open one of the windows. Then, place the window sensor plate against the bottom of the lower window sash which is the usual on every security system setup. You have to screw the plate into the window with wood screws using a screwdriver. You have to screw the receiver plate into the sill with wood screws using a screwdriver as usual. Then check it out if it works by closing the window to confirm that the two plates are touching each other. You have to peel back the insulation using your fingers. You have to separate the two wires inside the cable from each other. You now have to strip about half inch of insulation from the end of each wire with wire strippers and then you have to dispose of the cut off insulation.
